Jobio Fuel: HVO Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Jobio Fuel, we are committed to fueling the future responsibly. Delivering HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) requires specialized equipment and strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. This policy outlines our standards for getting renewable fuel to your site efficiently and safely.

1. Delivery Methods & Quantities

We provide flexible shipping options to meet the needs of diverse fleets and industrial operations:

• Bulk Tanker Delivery: For orders ranging from 500 to 36,000+ liters. Our tankers are equipped with calibrated flow meters to ensure precise billing.

• IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container): 1,000-liter "tote" tanks delivered via tail-lift vehicles.

• Barrel/Drum Delivery: 205-liter steel or plastic drums for smaller storage needs or backup power.

2. Lead Times & Scheduling

• Standard Delivery: Typically fulfilled within 3–5 business days from order confirmation.

• Next-Day Express: Orders placed before 12:00 PM may qualify for next-day delivery (subject to a priority surcharge and local tanker availability).

• Emergency Fueling: We offer a 24/7 emergency response for critical infrastructure or sites at risk of running dry.

3. Site Access & Safety Requirements

To ensure a safe and successful transfer of HVO, the following conditions must be met:

• Clear Access: The delivery route must be suitable for Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs). Please notify us of any height, weight, or width restrictions (e.g., narrow lanes or weak bridges).

• Hose Reach: Our standard tankers carry 30-meter hoses. If your tank is further than 30 meters from the nearest safe parking spot, please request a "Long-Reach" vehicle in advance.

• Tank Inspection: Our drivers are legally required to perform a visual safety check of your receiving tank. We cannot deliver into tanks that are unbunded (single-skinned) in high-risk areas or show signs of structural failure.

4. Shipping Costs & Fees

• Transparent Rates: Delivery fees are calculated based on volume and distance from our nearest regional hub.

• Small Load Surcharge: A nominal fee applies to bulk orders under 1,000 liters.

• Aborted Delivery Fee: If a delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access, an unsafe tank, or incorrect site information, an "Aborted Load" fee will be applied to cover transport costs.

5. Environmental & Spill Prevention

• Zero-Contamination Guarantee: Our HVO-dedicated tankers are cleaned and inspected to ensure no cross-contamination with fossil diesel or water.

• ADR Certified: All Jobio Fuel drivers are ADR-trained and carry professional spill containment kits.

• Biodegradable Product: While HVO is biodegradable and non-toxic to soil/water compared to fossil diesel, all spills must still be reported and managed according to local environmental laws.

6. Proof of Delivery (POD)

• Digital Tickets: Upon completion of delivery, a digital meter-stamped ticket will be sent to your registered email, confirming the exact volume discharged.

• Site Sign-Off: An authorized person should be on-site to sign for the delivery. If a "Unattended Delivery" is requested, Jobio Fuel accepts no liability for tank security or overfills.

7. Returns & Cancellations

• Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the delivery window without charge.

Here is the specific Off-Grid & Remote Site Delivery section to be added to your shipping policy. This is essential for HVO providers serving construction, agriculture, and forestry industries.

8. Off-Grid & Remote Site Delivery

Jobio Fuel specializes in supporting off-grid operations, from remote construction projects to agricultural farms and telecommunications hubs. Delivering HVO to these locations requires additional coordination to ensure safety and reliability.

• All-Terrain Delivery: For sites with difficult access (unpaved roads, mud, or steep gradients), we utilize 4x4 Baby Tankers. These smaller vehicles can navigate terrain that standard road tankers cannot reach. Please specify "Off-Road Access" when booking.

• GPS/What3Words Integration: For sites without a registered postal address (e.g., a specific generator in a field or a construction waypoint), customers must provide a What3Words location or precise GPS coordinates to ensure our drivers can locate the drop-off point.

• On-Site Fueling (Wet-Hose): We offer "Wet-Hose" services for off-grid sites, where our drivers fill individual pieces of machinery (excavators, generators, crushers) directly from the tanker. A detailed site map and asset list must be provided in advance.

• Security & Remote Drops: For unmanned remote sites, we can arrange "Key-Drop" deliveries. The customer must provide secure access codes or keys for tank locks. Jobio Fuel is not responsible for fuel theft or tank tampering post-delivery at unmanned locations.

• Environmental Sensitivity: Many off-grid sites are in ecologically sensitive areas. Our off-road fleet carries enhanced spill containment kits and utilizes dry-break couplings to ensure zero-drop transfers, protecting the local ecosystem.

• Winter Access: During extreme weather, access to off-grid sites may be restricted. We recommend maintaining a minimum 20% reserve in your tanks during winter months to allow for weather-related delivery windows.

Pro Tip for your Website:

If you are targeting construction or events, you might want to add a note that HVO is the preferred fuel for off-grid power because it reduces local noise and odor, making it better for sites near residential areas or film sets.

• Returns: Due to the risk of fuel contamination, we cannot accept returns once the fuel has left the tanker’s nozzle and entered your storage system.
